Zahak
Image compositing/Digital collage
A visual narrative unfolds in Zahak, where fragmented images converge to create a haunting portrait of a mythical figure.
Zahak is a malevolent figure in Persian mythology, often depicted as a tyrant with serpents growing from his shoulders. Known for his cruelty and insatiable hunger for power, he is a complex and fascinating subject for artistic interpretation.

Revision Plan:
Based on the feedback from the play-test participants, I plan to enhance the game level by adding a background music track and incorporating elements like fog, clouds, and mist to create a more mysterious atmosphere. Additionally, I will introduce vertical tiles and moving platforms to expand the play dimension, allowing for vertical movement within the level.
Next, I’ll design teleportation doors to add an exciting new theme to the gameplay. I also intend to include more moving platforms in the gaps between tiles and above water areas, with varied movement patterns such as cycles or back-and-forth motions. These additions, along with more detailed environmental elements, will significantly improve the visual impact.
To guide players through the game, I’ll design dialogue boxes that provide instructions and story elements. I’m particularly interested in the inventory system and plan to explore the inventory controller further to create new items or options for Ellen to collect.
Lastly, I aim to enhance the interaction features to increase the game’s immersive quality. This will include providing more opportunities for the player to acquire different weapons and interact with enemies in diverse ways.
